The platform has several tools which improve user safety, such as the option to blur your face in photos, the ability to auto-logout, and the option to report and block other members. They also claim to have a team who constantly monitors NextLove 24/7 to ensure full security, and their customer service team seems to be reachable via multiple ways. These features do end up contributing to a secure and user-friendly experience on Next Love, however, there are still a few red flags we came across.
Fake Profiles
Taking into consideration the sheer number of profiles on Next Love with barely any information, along with the optional verification, raises concerns about the authenticity of some profiles. While some users have multiple photos, the amount of incomplete profiles still creates skepticism about the overall genuineness of the user base. In most sites, there are at least some complete profiles, but the scale of incomplete profiles on NextLove rubbed us the wrong way.
Test Profiles
We noticed in their terms of use paragraph 5.3 that they or their affiliates may use 'test profiles' for testing the functionality of the service, without really clarifying what these profiles can do or how to tell them apart from real ones. This could be a scheme of the site to lure in people and spend money wooing people who don’t actually exist. If this was only for ‘test purposes’, they should have the test profiles clearly marked with an icon or identifier so users can distinguish them from genuine profiles.

Our experience on NextLove was generally disappointing. While there were a few pros we simply cannot ignore, the cons definitely outweigh them. For one, the website has a small overall user base which makes it hard in general to find someone compatible. What’s more, the site has very few features making it much harder to get matched and discover compatible people.
From a pricing standpoint, NextLove might seem reasonable initially, but considering there’s not many perks that come with the memberships, they do not offer the best value for money.
