Upon entering the site, you will be prompted to upload a profile picture, something which is skippable. Like Gallery

Similar to the ever-popular Tinder swipe, CougarPorMoi’s “Like Gallery” allows you to skim through a preview of other peoples’ profiles and “heart”, skip or opt to message them straight away. Free membership users have a limit of 100 profiles. You will be able to view the other user’s username, age and location, and even visit their profile if you wish (although this will direct you away from the “Like Gallery”).

Favourites

Finally, CougarPourMoi keeps a list of all the profiles you’ve “favourited”. You can find the option by visiting another user’s profile and clicking the “Add To Favourites” button right next to the “like” icon. The other users are not notified when you do that, they are simply added into a list so you can potentially get to contacting them at a later stage. To view this list, you need to visit your profile page and select the “My Favourites” tab right next to “My Settings”.

Something you might have picked up from our “Registration Process” section is that CougarPourMoi does not require you to verify your email address to access and use it. On top of that, they are transparent about the fact that they do not conduct any background, criminal or identity checks to their users, which makes the website a good hiding place for scammers. We’d advise you to practise online safety while using CougarPorMoi.

Conclusion

Overall, CougarPourMoi is as basic of a dating site as it gets. The site has very few, albeit useful dating features and a quick and easy registration process. The web design is also simple, making it easy for both new and old daters to find their way around the site.

It is among some of the cheapest dating sites we’ve come across, and while you can’t avoid the automatic renewals to their packages we appreciate that they have a satisfaction guarantee policy.

Other than that, CougarPourMoi is not a very safe dating site. They do not conduct any background checks to their users and will even distribute your personal information to their “partner sites”.

All in all, if you opt for it, we’d advise you not to share any sensitive personal information with neither the site nor its users. Ensure that the people you are talking to are real before you arrange to meet up and never send money to strangers on the internet.
