xDating makes joining the site as simple as it gets. After clicking 'Sign Up', you'll need to enter:

Finally, you can choose your preferred ethnicity as well as body type(s) and set an age range.
Profile Completion
After registering, there are 13 questions you're encouraged to answer. First, you need to add a photo. Next, you'll select what you're interested in, from a list of options that include 'Online Flirting', 'Meet in Person', or 'Friends with Benefits', among others. The next question is about your living arrangements, where you can choose between 'I live alone', 'I have roommates', or 'I live with kid(s)'.
The next few questions include your willingness to travel for a meetup, your level of play (from conservative to webcam play and meeting up), your hair and eye color, and your religion. The last few questions include the languages you speak, your yearly income and profession, and marital status. There's still a lot you can do to complete your profile after the 13 questions.
There's a 'Naughty Meter', which is a sliding scale from 'Vanilla' to 'Lil Freaky', which is a fun profile page feature that we haven't seen before. There's also an 'About Me' and an 'About you' section where you can write up to 2,000 characters about yourself or your ideal match. You can also enter your height and your mood status. Finally, another unique feature is the "Games" section, where you can select the games you play from a list.
User Account Quality
There are a good number of accounts on the x Dating site, many of whom have photos. Since you can create your account without adding photos, there are also many empty profiles. From our perspective, considering our profile didn't even have a profile picture, we found the amount of attention we got a little suspicious. So, unfortunately, the legitimacy of the profiles on xDating is questionable.
Dating Feature
Mood Status
You can add a 'Mood Status' from your profile or homepage and search through other users to find someone in the same mood as you. The available moods are: 'Chatting', 'Meet Up', 'Seeking Relationship', or 'Video Chat'. As you might expect, though, even though you can be in the mood for 'Video Chatting' to actually turn on that webcam, you will need to be a premium member.
Hot or Not Game
Much like swiping through profiles on other dating sites, this game allows you to view other users' profile pictures one at a time and click on a 'heart' if they're hot or an 'X' if you're not interested. If you both click on the 'heart' for each other, you'll 'Match'. Once you've matched, you'll be able to exchange a limited number of messages for free.
Winks
When you've joined, you'll be shown a grid of profile pictures and told to 'pick the hotties' and send them a free 'Wink'. A 'Wink' notifies the other person that you are interested in them, and can be a way to get their attention before you start exchanging messages. For the site, it's also a way to sell subscriptions since free members will get a notification that you've winked at them but must buy a subscription to see your profile or reply.
Video Chats
The x Dating app offers random video chats, a service similar to 'Omegle' or 'Chat Roulette'. This can be a fun way to meet new people and get to know them. There are also themed video chat rooms, for example, 'Foodies', 'Travel', 'Confessions', or 'Chill Vibes'. This can also be a way to socialize, engage in the community, and make new friends. Prices & Costs
The xDating com app is monetized mainly through subscriptions and some on-site ads. There's also a credit system through which you can earn and convert them to real money. Exploring the site, you'll find that most features redirect you to the subscription page, but there's no clear list of what the subscription includes, which is a little strange.

You cannot have hooked up in the 3 months prior.
Must have had a profile picture for the full 3 months.
Must have sent and/or replied to 5 messages minimum per week.
You'll then need to contact customer support to confirm that you've met all the conditions and that you can get a free three-month membership. You can only use this once.
Credits
Credits are used to view live streams of models and members and tip the performers. If you are a performer, you can earn credits through your live streams and convert the credits into IRL cash. Here's the costs:

If you've earned credits by performing, you can cash the credits out at a rate of $5 per 1,000 credits, but you must have a minimum of 5,000 credits to start getting cash.
How Safe Is xDating.com?
"No Site Created Profiles"
In the Terms of Use, there is a clause that states, "This Site does not contain any profiles created by the Site." This would be encouraging, except some of the profiles act suspiciously. Especially considering that our test profiles get views and messages before any photos are added. Our test profile got 13 messages/icebreakers and loads of profile views before any information was shared with the site and its users.
Some older xDating reviews mentioned a clause in the Terms of Use where it stated that the site uses "Fantasy profiles called Online Flirt", to enhance the experience. This seems to have been removed and replaced with the clause mentioned in the previous paragraph. So, while we can't say for certain that there are fake profiles, we can say that some profiles are suspect, and we've got a healthy dose of skepticism.
Get Verified
Once you've added at least 1 photo, you can get verified. Doing this will prioritize your profile in the search results and give you a verified symbol on your profile so that other users know you're using real photos of yourself. There are 3 ways to get verified, either by taking a selfie while copying a certain pose, uploading a video of yourself saying hi, or having a video chat with an agent.
Once you've uploaded your photo or video, the team will compare your upload to your profile photo and give you the badge. This is a great way to ensure that people are being truthful and using their own photos.
Final Thoughts
There are many fun features, including games, random video chatting or themed video chat rooms, and xdating username search. You can also search based on mood status. You can verify your profile, and there are a good number of verified users. However, we're not convinced that the profiles are all legitimate.
There's a lot to do on the site, but only if you have an xDating.com premium account. The membership is expensive compared to similar sites in the market. You'll also need to purchase additional credits if you want to view the live streams.
For these reasons, we rate xDating 6.1 out of 10. If you can afford it, give it a try. But if you're more budget-conscious, there are other dating apps out there that give you more features for cheaper or even for free.
